Modern Men’s Watch Auction Pick 1: Longines Heritage Military 1938 Limited Edition

A Limited Edition of 1938 pieces, this particular watch has the serial number 1311/1938. We have selected it for it’s cool, heritage styling. Also, we have found this watch available new online for £2,140, so if you can pick it up for the estimate price, you will have got a great deal!

Drawing on a Longines design from the inter-war years, the Heritage Military Limited Edition is a redesign of a classic style. The 43mm stainless steel case is the perfect size for a modern man’s wrist. Additionally, the black dial is striking and the cream arabic figures and traditional railroad minute track could be straight from the 1930’s. Furthermore. the seconds are displayed on a subsidiary dial. Moreover, the watch benefits from a sapphire crystal and is water resistant to 3 bars (30m). Finally, fluted crown and a grey strap complete the vintage look and a stainless steel pin buckle secures the watch to the wrist.

Equipped with a hand-wound movement, this watch is a little bit of the past reimagined for today.

With an estimate of £650-£850, this Tag Heuer Monaco is well worth a bid. With its trademark square case, this is a striking timepiece that will always guarantee style.

Equipped with a quartz movement, it has a black dial with subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock. Additionally, there is a date indicator at 3 o’clock with quick date change. Finally, a black leather strap with deployant clasp completes the line-up.

Fellows Auction 15.02.21 Lot 76 IWC watchFor our final pick, this fabulous IWC Pilot Edition “Le Petit Prince” Chronograph is an absolute must. If you can pick it up for around the estimate price of £2,800-£3,600, you will have a great value IWC watch on your hands… or preferably on your wrist!

Famous for aviation watches, IWC is an iconic Swiss watch brand founded in 1868.

Firstly, this “Le Petit Prince” chronograph has a robust 43mm brushed stainless steel case with a screw caseback. Secondly, the blue dial has white arabic markers and is designed for legibility. Additionally, the chronograph is displayed on three subsidiary dials. Furthermore, a day/date indicator is also a useful addition.

Equipped with an automatic movement, a brown leather strap completes the look and secures to the wrist with a pin buckle.
