Case, Dial, Date, Crystal
Firstly, the polished stainless steel case of the Oris Rectangular is stepped on the sides. Consequently, this amplifies the presence and impact of the rectangular shape. Secondly, dials come in white, blue, anthracite and Bordeaux. Rail tracks run around both the outer edge of the dial and on an inner rectangle that reflects and complements the case silhouette. Also, bold, arabic figures at 12, 9 and 3 play with symmetry and asymmetry whilst a date indicator at 6 completes the layout. Additionally, sword-shaped hands add an elegant touch. Finally, the sapphire crystal is domed on both sides and an anti-reflective coating on the inside reduces glare.
Movement, Water Resistance, Caseback, Strap
Equipped with a precision Oris 561 automatic movement, the Oris Rectangular has a 38 hour power reserve. In addition it is water resistant to 3 bars (30m). The see-through caseback is secured with screws and allows a fantastic view of the movement in action. Finally, plain leather straps complement the dials in green, red, blue and yellow. Fitted with quick release spring bars, it is quick and easy to exchange it for an alternative colour.
