The newly rebranded HERBELIN French watch atelier has launched some vibrant new additions to its emblematic Cap Camarat collection including models with square cases.
Inspired by the French Riviera, the collection has a subtle sporty vibe with the elegant good looks for which Herbelin is synonymous.
Cap Camarat: Square 39mm
Now, for the first time, the Herbelin Cap Camarat is available with a striking square case. Offered with a 39mm diameter, the sculpted, angular case has rounded corners. Bold and imposing, it has its roots in the 1960s Herbelin watches, created by Michel Herbelin himself.
The Cap Camarat DNA continues to run through the new models. Firstly, the dials all have a stamped horizontal lined pattern reminiscent of the decking on board a yacht. Secondly, the bezels have six polished decorative screws which add a touch of refinement. Furthermore, the double hour indexes have faceted edges which are the precise width of the hands. Both the indexes and hour and minute hands are coated with lume for improved visibility in poor light.
The new square case has three dial variations: Green, Blue and Bordeaux Red. Each has a dégradé (gradient) finish so it is darker at the edges. This has the effect of drawing the eye in to the centre of the dial.
Water resistant to 10 bars and with a reliable Swiss RONDA Quartz movement, Cap Camarat is a beautifully executed sports luxury timepiece.

Cap Camarat: Women’s 33mm Quartz Movement
For women, Herbelin have redefined their existing round case Cap Camarat. Previously in a 34.5mm diameter, the new models are slightly smaller at 33mm. It’s a great size for a women’s sports luxe watch: large enough to look great without looking clunky. Also the bezels are now in a polished finish. This makes a big difference as it gives the watch a lighter, fresher feel. Currently, the new Cap Camarat 33mm watches are available with either a White Mother of Pearl dial or an Ice Blue dial. Under the dial, a Swiss RONDA Quartz movement takes care of the hours, minutes, seconds and date function.
