The Bolton Watch collection from Duckworth Prestex is a true reflection of the brand’s heritage. It evokes the original 1924 pocket watch that began the whole Prestex story. Three different versions are available: a three hand timepiece, a ‘small seconds’ timepiece and a chronograph.
Case
Firstly, the dynamic 316L stainless steel case uses a combination of brushed and polished finishes. Secondly, its restrained proportions mean that it should feel right at home on all wrist sizes. With a 39mm diameter it is comfortable on the wrist.
Crown, Movement, Dial
The Bolton Verimatic’s screw-down crown helps the watch achieve an impressive water resistance rating of 200-metre. Also, the three hand version has a reliable and accurate Miyota 9039 automatic movement beating away inside. The ‘small seconds’ version has a Seiko VD 87 quartz movement. Finally, the chronograph has a Hattori VK64 quartz movement, chosen for its reliability and precision, accurate to +/- 20 seconds per month.
The dials are in white porcelain with traditionally-shaped black hands.
Strap
The Bolton Verimatic Collection comes with a beautiful Horween leather strap to complement the crisp, white dial. All straps have quick-release spring bars so it’s easy to quickly change the strap with no need for tools.
