EB: Brand Story
Ian and Alex launched their brand in 2013. However, the story began in 2010 when the pair first started to imagine just how good they could make a watch with no corporate restrictions. Their overriding aim was to work to a standard rather than to a price point. Furthermore, these values sit behind every timepiece that Elliot Brown produce.
Starting with a blank sheet, every element of an EB watch is considered and scrutinized. Moreover, EB do not make watches with component parts. Unique, proprietary elements combine to create timepieces that stand head and shoulders above the rest in terms of their durability and functionality. From heavy-duty screw in strap bars, to a unique shock-proofing system, every aspect of the watch is made 100% fit-for-purpose.

EB: Dorset Roots
Finally, every collection has it’s own unique Dorset reference story and occupies a niche within the Elliot Brown stable. Consequently, Kimmeridge is named after Kimmeridge Bay where time on the water and waves has been enjoyed by the founders for many years. Similarly, Bloxworth, near Wareham, and the various Canfords near Wimborne also give their names to two of the brand’s key collections.
