Bloxworth
Bloxworth from Elliot Brown is a range of classic “tech-diver” chronographs. Designed for those who like a little more function, it is a true go-anywhere, do-anything watch.
Equipped with a Swiss-made 13-jewel quartz chronograph movement, it has a three-year battery life. This is secured inside the brand’s own shock-absorbing steel movement housing.
Firstly, the 44mm diameter case is pebble-like so it wears beautifully even on smaller wrists and is machined from solid 316L stainless steel. Additionally, case finishes include matt black, bead blasted gunmetal, tungsten PVD, and brushed/polished stainless steel.
Secondly, a rugged 2.8mm hardened and tempered anti-reflective mineral crystal is fitted for clear vision in all conditions.
Additionally, the dial, hands and 0-20 markers on the bezel of certain models are flooded with Superluminova luminous detailing. This gives outstanding legibility.
Furthermore, the outer edge of the diver’s bezel is machined with deep castellations for excellent grip. It’s unidirectional rotation ensures that only a shorter remaining time is indicated when being used for timing if accidentally knocked. Also, the crown and push-buttons are knurled for superior grip in harsh conditions.
Finally, the caseback is bolted down, not threaded, because it’s the best way of holding the shock-absorbing movement housing accurately inside the case. This seals the case back and ensures the logo is presented in perfect alignment.
Every Elliot Brown Bloxworth watch is individually pressure tested to 150m twice during construction. It is then placed in a water-filled pressure vessel that’s cranked up to 200m.
If a bracelet is your preferred choice, all EB solid stainless bracelets are fitted with a micro extending divers extension buckle. However, the Bloxworth is equally at home with a rubber, leather, canvas or webbing straps. Strap changes are easy thanks to solid steel screw in strap bars and a screwdriver included with every watch.
