The Inspiration collection from Michel Herbelin has its roots in the heritage designs of the company. Founded in 1947, the brand has much history to draw upon. Expect well-designed, interesting timepieces with a story to tell.
Inspiration 1947 Mechanical
The Inspiration 1947 Mechanical has a retro look. The case is based on one designed by Michel Herbelin himself, back in the 1950’s. True to the original watch, the movement is mechanical (hand-wound).  However, it is the small details that give this watch finesse. Firstly, the faceted hour indexes which are pointed and draw the eye in to the dial. Secondly, the curved lines of the case which create the retro look. Furthermore, the fluted crown set with a blue cabochon adds to the vintage feel.
Inspiration 1947 Automatic
If a hand-wound watch isn’t for you, a fine selection of automatics are also offered. Based on the same design as the mechanical version, dial options include brown, blue, green and silver.
Inspiration Quartz Moonphase and Big Date
Finally, two Inspiration watches with quartz movements are available. Firstly, a Moonphase is offered in both stainless steel and rose gold plated options. Additionally, choose between a blue or tan leather strap. Furthermore. a sleek milanese bracelet is offered on some models. Finally, applied indexes combine with printed typography to create an interesting dial.

Secondly, a Big Date watch is offered. With a subsidiary second hand, the date displayed in two windows at 12 o’clock.
