Max Bill Mega is equipped with a J101.65 radio-controlled manufacture movement. This powers the hour, minute and second hands as well as a handy date function. The movement guarantees absolute accuracy at all times as it receives the signal of the time signal transmitter on three continents. Also, outside of reception range it continues to function with the precision of of an especially precise quartz movement. Expect correct date changing at all times. Furthermore, the second hand has a double tick which places a focus on precision when reading the time.

Firstly, the Junghans Max Bill Mega Solar Watch is equipped with the latest J101.85 connected radio-controlled movement. Secondly, it is solar-powered. Additionally, it will run for up to three years on a full charge. Furthermore, the dial is the solar cell and has a quick-charging function. This allows it to go from flat to running after just eight minutes of exposure to light.

Moreover, thanks to the Junghans Mega smartphone app, the watch will work anywhere in the world. Available for both iOS and Android, the smartphone app broadcasts a time signal that synchronises the watch within “less than 30 seconds on average”. Even within synchronisation to either smartphone or radio signals, the watch will run within eight seconds a year as an ordinary, high-precision quartz watch.
