Born out of the Desco von Schulthess Company originally founded in 1889, 1975 saw the launch of the a new name in watches; Maurice Lacroix and was given licence to produce them in Saignelegier, Switzerland.
The Swiss-Jura region is synonymous with horological expertise and Maurice Lacroix is no different. The workshops are not only the hub for design, development and manufacture of their timepieces, but also the production of their own calibre movements to ensure complete control of the process from start to finish.
Highlights of the collection include Pontos, just celebrating its 20th anniversary – a vision of understated refinement that has stood the test of time. The Aikon is a slightly more bold alternative, still with a sleek finish, but with a sporty adventurous edge.
