The Alpina Alpiner 4 Automatic Watch is based on the “4” principles on which Alpina conceived and created the first Swiss sports watch in 1938. The four principles were anti-magnetic, anti-shock, water resistant and stainless. Alpina founder Gottlieb Hauser firmly believed that these essential features would equip a watch to withstand the entire Alpine sports environment: from mountain climbing to alpine lake diving. The Alpina “4” concept was revived in 2014 with the “Alpiner 4” collection.
The Alpina Alpiner 4 Automatic is a luxury sports watch. Firstly, with a 44mm stainless steel case in brushed and polished finish, it is robust and practical. Secondly, the dial has a simple design which reinforces the professional nature of this watch. In addition, the brand’s signature “Glacier blue” shade has been reintroduced which looks really smart. The applied indexes and hands have a luminous coating to ensure they shine brightly in the dark. Finally, the screw-down crown is easy to grip.
The brown leather strap has white contrast stitching and a functional pin buckle. Water resistant to 10 bars (100m), the Alpina Alpiner 4 Automatic Watch is suitable for scuba diving. Moreover, it also has an engraved screw caseback. Finally, a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal completes the look.
