Case, crown, water resistance, bracelet
Firstly, the Engineer Hydrocarbon has a 42mm stainless steel case. Additionally, a black ceramic uni-directional rotating bezel measures elapsed time. It is also luminous. Secondly, the black dial complements the bezel. For fantastic night visibility, 31 micro gas tubes on the hands and dial glow brightly in the dark. Amazingly, these will remain bright for up to 25 years without recharging. The dial has a plain central chapter ring with a patterned ring surrounding it. Thirdly, an anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects the dial. A date indicator between 4 and 5 o’clock is also a useful feature. Additionally, the heavy-duty crown is equipped with Ball’s exclusive crown protection system. Moreover, the Engineer Hydrocarbon is anti-magnetic, shock resistant and water resistant to 30 bars (300m). Finally, the stainless steel bracelet is fitted with Ball’s patented folding clasp with extension.
