Case, dial, Telemeter

In terms of aesthetics, the Fireman Storm Chaser Pro has a clean, functional look. Firstly, the stainless steel case is 42mm in diameter and has an aluminium top bezel. A black Telemeter scale is useful to determine distance based on time. This is essential for storm chasers to measure the elapsed time between a flash of lightning and the sound of thunder. Secondly, the white dial has 15 micro gas tubes on the hands and dial which will glow brightly in the dark for up to 25 years without recharging. A black minute track and orange detailing enhance the legibility of the dial even further. The hour and minute hands are straight with open sections so that the dial is not obscured. The sweep seconds hand is also straight with the Ball insignia at the centre. Thirdly, an anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects the dial.

Water resistance, bracelet

Water resistant to 10 bars (100m), the Fireman Storm Chaser Pro is anti-magnetic and shock resistant. Finally, the refined stainless steel bracelet is in a brushed and polished finish and fitted with a folding clasp.
