The Ball Trainmaster Cannonball Automatic embodies the classical railway heritage of the Ball Watch Company. Inspired by the original 19th century pocket watches that were used to keep time on the railroads, the look is that of a traditional precision timekeeping instrument.

Case, dial

Firstly, the brushed stainless steel case is 43mm in diameter with a polished bezel. Secondly, the white enamel dial contrasts well with the traditional black arabic numerals. Along with a legible train-track style minute track, they enhance the legibility of the dial even further. The hour, minute, sweep seconds and chronograph hands are in a beautiful blued finish. Additionally, 14 micro gas tubes ensure that the dial and hands have great night visibility. Thirdly, an anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects the dial. Finally, a sapphire crystal caseback ensures that the workings of the movement can be viewed and appreciated.

Water resistance, strap

Water resistant to 5 bars (50m), the Trainmaster is splash-resistant as well as anti-magnetic and shock resistant. In addition, the traditional crown is easy to grip. The pushers also have a flat surface for ease of use. Finally, the black crocodile leather strap is another indicator of the luxury status of this timepiece.
