For a classical timepiece with modern interpretation, look no further than the Bulova Classic Aerojet Automatic Watch.
Firstly, with a 41mm rose gold tone case, it has quite an eye-catching presence on the wrist (view silver tone version here). Framed by a polished rose gold bezel, the main feature of the dial is an open heartbeat aperture. This allows a glimpse view of the automatic movement. Otherwise, the dial is deliberately plain so as not to detract from the heartbeat. In plain white, simple applied rose gold indexes keep the look minimalist. Additionally, a black minute track with luminous dot hour markers ensures accuracy. Furthermore, the hands are sword shaped and in a rose gold finish to complement the dial.
On the reverse side, a screwed exhibition caseback allows a fascinating view of the underside of the movement.
The strap is in brown alligator-grain brown leather with stitched sides. A rose gold tone pin buckle secures the watch to the wrist.
Equipped with a 21 jewel automatic movement, the Aerojet has a 40 hour power reserve. Finally it is splash resistant and has a double curved mineral box crystal.
