The Bulova Jet Star Red Dial Watch comes straight out of the 1970’s. Based on the 1973 Jet Star “F”, this iconic model is now equipped with Bulova’s Precisionist movement, bringing it bang up to date.

Jet Star: Case, Dial, Movement

Firstly, with a 40mm stainless steel case, the Jet Star features a striking angular design with broad facets and a domed sapphire crystal. Framed by a flat bezel, the rich Merlot dial features a black minute track (view silver dial version here). Similarly, the applied hour markers are also in red and silver tone with silver tone hands. Additionally, luminescent plots at each hour and fill in the hands allow for exceptional legibility in every environment. Furthermore, the hands are straight to perfectly align with the hour markers.

A stainless steel bracelet with double push button release secures the Bulova Jet Star Red Dial Watch to the wrist. Fitted with quick release spring bars, it’s easy to remove the bracelet yourself and swap it out for a different look.

Featuring high-performance quartz technology, the movement has 262 kHz vibrational frequency for precise accuracy. At this high frequency, the watch’s second hand does not jump from second to second but instead moves in a continuous sweep in the manner of a mechanical watch hand. Finally, it is splash resistant.
