Lunar Pilot Chronograph

Bulova’s modern interpretation of the watch has a high-performance quartz movement. With a frequency of 262 kHz, it operates at a higher frequency than most quartz or mechanical movements which results in increased precision.

Case, Dial & Bracelet

With a 44mm stainless steel case, the Bulova Lunar Pilot Chronograph is a sizeable watch. However, with gently curving case contouring, it is comfortable to wear. Additionally, true to the original design, the chronograph pushers follow the shape of the case. Finally, engraving on the caseback commemorates the Apollo 15 mission. A multi-level dial adds depth. There is a tachymetre scale around the outside edge which is stepped up from the centre of the dial. In keeping with the original, the Bulova logo is the version from the 70’s. Finally, the solid link brushed stainless steel bracelet has a folding clasp with double push button release (view strap version here).

Bulova and Apollo 15

Founded in 1875 by Joseph Bulova, this famous American brand has a long history of innovation. Indeed, Bulova collaborated with NASA on 46 space missions.
