Firstly, the clean lines of the 42mm case create a look that is clean and refined. In highly polished stainless steel, the cool tone of the bezel complements the silver dial which has blue detailing. Secondly, simple applied indexes and a black railroad minute track ensure that the watch is legible and easy to read at a glance. Similarly, the blue hour and minute hands have a luminous coating at the tips so they can be seen in poor light. Subsidiary dials show the date, day, month and phase of the moon. After purchasing a used SAR rescue timer, I required the additional rubber strap and matching clasp.
Found that Watch Specialist supplied them so was happy to order one from their nice website and they kept me up to date with a delivery time etc.
