With it’s bold styling, this Citizen Men’s Military Black Nylon Strap Watch is undeniably cool. Taking a less is more approach, it is striking as well as functional and practical.
The 44mm case in brushed stainless steel is contemporary in design. The black dial has a typographical look with large, stylised arabic numbers and indexes printed in white. Similarly, the hands are also in white and have pointed tips for accuracy. The dial markers and hands are luminous for improved legibility in the dark.
The strap is in black nylon. Grey contrast stitching all around the strap is a nice touch. So too are steel rivets around each hole in the strap. A heavy duty crown with textured finish for improved grip completes the look.
Equipped with an Eco-Drive movement, the Citizen Men’s Military Black Nylon Strap Strap Watch is powered by light and will never need a battery. Covered by a fantastic Five Year Warranty, this is a practical timepiece with military overtones.

After purchasing a used SAR rescue timer, I required the additional rubber strap and matching clasp.
