Citizen Promaster Diver Automatic Luminous Dial Watch

The Promaster Diver Automatic Luminous Dial Watch draws on the history of the iconic Promaster. Originally used by the Italian Navy, 1989 saw its release for a new generation of dive enthusiasts. The new Promaster Automatic is equipped with all the features you’d expect from an ISO compliant diving watch.

Case, Luminous Dial, Crown

Firstly, made from black ion-plated stainless steel, the 3-part, 44mm case has a distinctive serrated bezel. Inspired by a fugu (the Japanese name for pufferfish), the black rotating bezel is easy to grip. Similarly, the oversized crown is also designed for ease of use. Located at 8 o’clock for comfort reasons, it has a cross-hatched pattern to prevent slipping.

Secondly, the light green dial is fully luminous with a black minute track around the outer edge. Additionally, the hands and indices are also luminous for improved visibility. Also, the minute and centre seconds hands have red outlines. This makes them easy to read at a glance. Furthermore, a day/date indicator at 3 o’clock is a useful feature.

Strap, Water Resistance, Movement

A durable black ion-plated bracelet secures the Promaster Diver Automatic to the wrist (view strap version here). Moreover, water resistant to 20 bars (200m), the Promaster has a screwed caseback with pufferfish engraving.

Equipped with an automatic movement, the Promaster Diver Automatic Luminous Dial Watch has a 42 hour power reserve.
