Duckworth Prestex Centenary Watch – Salmon Pink Dial

To mark the 100th anniversary of the first Prestex pocket watch in 2024, Duckworth Presex have unveiled a Centenary Watch. A modern recreation of a 1935 Art Deco Prestex dress watch, the new watch is a true heritage piece.

Case, Dial

Firstly, the 316L stainless steel case is rectangular with Art Deco influences. Secondly, measuring, 24mm x 40mm, it should feel right at home on all wrist sizes.

Additionally, the eye-catching salmon pink dial has bold, stylised arabic numerals in a blue finish. The font is identical to the original watch. Similarly, the blue steel hands are also traditional in style. Furthermore, a double bridge sapphire crystal protects the dial.

Finally, a beautiful blue leather strap complements the dial. However, a complete range of alternative 20mm straps are also available to fit the Centenary watch.

Each watch is individually numbered and is presented in a black lacquer case with a branded microfibre polishing cloth.

Duckworth Prestex

Duckworth Prestex is a British brand with its origins in 1869 in Bolton. The founder, Neil Duckworth’s family firm, Prestons, started making its own pocket watches under the Prestex name in the 1920’s. Over the next few decades, Prestex produced a variety of timepieces. These included chronographs, pocket watches and some stunning dress watches. The name was lost in the 1960’s. However, after a long career in the watch industry, Neil has now realised a lifelong ambition to resurrect the original family watch brand.
