Elliot Brown Bloxworth Black 3HD Diver Watch

Inspired by classic sports watches from the 50’s and 60’s, the Elliot Brown Bloxworth Black 3 Hand Diver (3HD), is as tough as it is smart. In typical Elliot Brown fashion, this new model has been honed over the last two years by the brand’s founders Ian Elliot and Alex Brown. With a black dial and robust bracelet, this watch demands attention. However, the appeal is much more than aesthetic. Just a glance at the spec reveals the level of punishment that this watch can withstand.

Brushed Stainless Steel Case, Ceramic Bezel, Caseback, Black Dial

Firstly, the 40mm case is perfectly proportioned to suit all wrist sizes. Made from finely brushed Marine-grade stainless steel, high polished elements add contrast (view gunmetal version here). Secondly, the uni-directional timing bezel has a ceramic insert with high lume for maximum visibility. Also, deep castellations around the bezel ensure excellent grip even with a gloved hand.

The compressor caseback ensures a perfect seal and every watch is individually pressure tested twice during construction, then placed in a water-filled pressure vessel and tested again.

Furthermore, the black ‘sandwich’ dial has high contrast SuperLuminova numerals coloured in a bespoke Purbeck stone, with matching hands and batons.

Movement

The Elliot Brown Bloxworth Black Diver (3HD) has a Swiss Ronda quartz movement. Also, the movement sits inside the brand’s proprietory shock-absorbing steel movement housing.

Finally, a brushed stainless steel bracelet secures the watch to the wrist. However, if a rubber or webbing strap also take your fancy, all Elliot Brown 22mm straps will fit this watch. With a handy screwdriver included with the watch, it’s incredibly easy to change the strap yourself. The strap fixing bars simply screw into the case with no flimsy spring bars to contend with.
