Firstly, in polished stainless steel, the sleek case is 40mm in diameter. Consequently, the watch feels comfortable on the wrist. Secondly, the silver white dial is in an elegant sunray finish. Furthermore, applied silver coloured indexes are strong but refined. The hour, minute, centre seconds and date indicator hands are in black pearl finish. Similarly the chronograph hands are also in the same finish. Moreover, the date indicator hand has a red arrow tip which is useful when reading the date from the scale at the edge of the dial.

Three sub dials display the chronograph which is used for timing and are operated by means of pushers at 2 and 4 o’clock. These have a textured surface for ease of use.

With a convex sapphire crystal, the Frederique Constant Classics Quartz Chronograph Triple Calendar Watch is water resistant to 3 bars. Finally, a black calf leather strap secures the watch to the wrist (view bracelet version here).
