In polished gold tone stainless steel, the case is 40mm in diameter and 10mm in depth. Consequently, the watch feels comfortable to wear. Firstly, the silver dial is in an elegant sunray finish. Secondly, faceted hand-applied gold tone indexes are strong but refined. Similarly, the hand polished hands are also in a gold finish. Also, they have a white luminous coating for visibility in the dark. Furthermore, the absence of a centre seconds hand means it’s hard to tell the difference between this quartz version and its automatic equivalent. Additionally, a date indicator at 3 o’clock is a useful feature.
With a convex sapphire crystal, the Frederique Constant Classics Gold Tone Watch is water resistant to 5 bars. Finally, a brown calf leather strap and an easy to grip crown add the finishing touches.

After purchasing a used SAR rescue timer, I required the additional rubber strap and matching clasp.
Found that Watch Specialist supplied them so was happy to order one from their nice website and they kept me up to date with a delivery time etc.
