However, it is bursting with hidden technology and embraces a major innovation: an integrated sensor which can measure the heart rate directly from the wrist. Additionally, it features a digital dial revealed on demand – a first for Frederique Constant.

One dial, two displays

The Smartwatch Vitality has a dial with two faces. Firstly, the blue analogue dial has a heart pattern with silver tone roman numerals and hand-polished hour and minute hands.  However, a push of the crown reveals a digital display on the lower part of the dial (view two tone version with grey dial here).

The digital display allows access to information such as the heart rate and activity tracker. Also, a second time zone and even the last five messages from your favourite apps (amongst other things). Furthermore, the Vitality Smartwatch connects to the Frederique Constant Smartwatch App (for iOS and Android). Consequently, all functionalities are configured directly via the app. Choose to display all the timepiece’s connected functions on the screen or simply configure a selection for information only. Moreover, the order in which the information is displayed can also be configured for personalised usage. Finally, push the crown to move between functions. The digital dial disappears after use.
