Still retaining its 32mm diameter, the round case is in gold tone 316L stainless steel (view silver tone version here). Moreover, it retains the features that historically mark a watch out as being a Newport. Firstly, the central fasteners on the case. Secondly, the crown engraved with a ship’s wheel motif. Additionally, the Midnight Blue dial has applied hour indexes. These are in a polished gold tone and faceted to complement the hour and minute hands.

A blue leather strap with an embossed alligator grain secures the watch to the wrist. Slim to complement the case, the strap reflects the sleek overall feel of the watch.
