The Junghans Form A Automatic Watch is described by the German brand as “a watch for every occasion and every time”. Consequently, Form A timepieces are sober, refined and unadorned.
Refined details
Although at first glance the FORM A appears reserved, it is the little details that count. Firstly, this FORM A model has a crisp, silver-plated concave dial with interesting square embossed minute markers. Secondly, the layout of the dial has been carefully considered with the legible printed hour markers and arabic numerals. These are designed for accuracy and ease of use. Additionally, arabic numerals printed in orange highlight each five minute interval. Furthermore, a date indicator is a useful function and is framed by a subtle shaping of the dial surrounding it. Moreover, a side view of the watch reveals that it is ergonomic in design. Also, the case is a convex shape which underscores its flat appearance and enhances comfort for the wearer.
Finally, a plain black calf leather strap adds the finishing touch. A closer look reveals that the edge of the strap is discreetly tailored to match the orange numerals on the minute track.

The “A” in FORM A is for Automatic. The watch has a J800.2 self-winding movement with a power reserve of up to 38 hours. Furthermore, the movement can be viewed through a tinted mineral glass caseback.
