The Junghans Meister Chronoscope with Green Dial honours the original Meister watches. Created in the 1930s, Meister had its heyday in the 1950s and 60s. Today, as then, only the most advanced calibres equip the Meister collection.
Meister Chronoscope
Firstly, housed within the 40.7mm stainless steel case is a reliable J880.1 self-winding movement. With an impressive 48 hour power reserve, a glass exhibition screwed caseback allows a great view of the automatic movement. The movement equips the watch with stop function, hour, minute and seconds functions. Also, sub dials display seconds, a 30 minute counter and a 12 hour counter.
Secondly, the convex sapphire crystal has an anti-reflective coating on both sides. This helps to reduce glare and increase legibility. Underneath, the Junghans Meister Chronoscope has a brushed sunray finish green dial (view grey dial version here). Furthermore, applied indexes at 12, 3, 6 and 9 and printed hour markers at the remaining positions give the dial a classical feel. Moreover, the stainless steel hands are coated with an environmentally friendly luminous substance. This ensures maximum legibility in poor light conditions.
Finally, a buff-coloured ostrich leather strap completes the look and a stainless steel pin buckle secures it to the wrist.
