The Junghans Meister Driver Chronoscope celebrates the early days of motoring. The German label describes this as “a time of great technological pioneers”. The look is reminiscent of a classic car. However, the watch benefits from all the technological know-how of this uncompromising watchmaking brand.

Firstly, housed within a 40.8mm stainless steel case is a reliable J800.3 self-winding movement. This can be easily viewed in action through a glass exhibition caseback. Furthermore, the movement equips the watch with hour, minute and seconds functions with sub dials displaying seconds and a 30 minute counter. Also, it has an impressive 42 hour power reserve.

Secondly, the convex, hard plexiglass is coated with Sicralan to enhance scratch resistance. Additionally, the dial is in a grey lacquered finish with contrasting white arabic numerals. Furthermore, the stainless steel hands and dial indices are coated with an environmentally friendly luminous substance to ensure maximum legibility in poor light conditions. Moreover, the hands on the two sub dials are in a bold red finish which really stands out against the grey of the dial.

Finally, a beautifully finished stainless steel bracelet with folding clasp completes the elegant look.
