The Junghans Meister Driver Chronoscope celebrates early days of motoring. A time of great technological pioneers, the look is reminiscent of a classic car. However, underneath the “bonnet” the watch reveals all the technological know-how of this uncompromising German brand.

Glass, Dial, Hands

Firstly, a convex, hard plexiglass protects the dial. Secondly, the taupe dial is elegant with a central chapter ring in sand.  Additionally, the unusual dial layout highlights the minutes in bold with the hours represented on a white outer track. Furthermore, sub dials display the seconds and 30 minute counter. Moreover, the stainless steel hands are coated with a luminous substance. This ensures legibility in poor light.

Case, Movement, Strap

The 40.8mm stainless steel case houses a reliable J800.3 self-winding movement. With an impressive 42 hour power reserve it is also viewed through a glass exhibition caseback.

Finally, a beautifully finished strap in chocolate brown calf leather secures the watch to the wrist. Furthermore, perforations on the underside ensure breathability and comfort and are also a nod to the detail on vintage steering wheels and driving gloves.
