The Junghans Meister Telemeter Men’s Watch epitomizes the spirit of motor racing in every detail. In a sport where success is dependent upon the speed attained in each lap of a race, timing is everything. The watch is based on a classical chronograph from 1951 which enabled time to be precisely measured with its stop function. Additionally, the tachymeter and telemeter scale provide a reading of the established speed and the distance covered.
Case, Dial, Strap
Firstly, housed within the stainless steel case is the outstanding J800.3 automatic movement. This powers the hour, minute and seconds hands. Secondly, two subsidiary dials also display seconds and a 30 minute counter. Additionally, with an incredible 42 hour power reserve, the self-winding movement can be easily viewed through the glass exhibition caseback. Furthermore, a convex sapphire crystal protects the dial. An anti-reflective coating reduces glare. Moreover, the matt silver dial is printed with an environmentally friendly luminous substance to ensure maximum legibility. Similarly, the hands are also coated in the same luminous material. Also, the dial features a tachymeter scale to measure distance over time and a telemeter.
Finally, a black leather strap completes the look and secures to the wrist with stainless steel pin buckle.
