Junghans Meister Chronometer

Less is most definitely more with the Meister Chronometer from Junghans. This contemporary classic is supplied with an official chronometer certificate. To achieve chronometer status, the watch is tested to ensure accuracy to +6/-4 seconds/day.

Firstly, the automatic J820.3 movement is housed within a 38.4mm stainless steel case. With an impressive 42 hour power reserve, the movement is easily viewed through the glass exhibition screwed caseback. Secondly, the movement equips the watch with hour, minute and seconds functions. Additionally, there is a date window at 3 o’clock.

The glass is a convex, hard plexiglass. Also, coated with Sicralan, it offers enhanced scratch resistance. Underneath the glass, the dial is in a crisp, white lacquered finish. Additionally, there is a mix of applied steel and printed markers. At 12, 3, 6 and 9, the hour markers are in polished steel. However, the remaining hour markers are printed in black as well as the minute track. Furthermore, the minute and hour hands are in steel and are coated with an environmentally friendly luminous substance to ensure maximum legibility in poor light conditions.

Finally, the Meister Chronometer is completed with a Horse leather strap in brown with a steel pin buckle.
