Why Fit A Junghans Butterfly Clasp to Your Strap?
Since the lock of the butterfly clasp is kept on the inside of the bracelet, pressed against your wrist, it is harder to jostle or accidentally open it. As a result, the butterfly clasp tends to be safer and more secure than a regular folding clasp. Also, some people find it easier to take their watch on and off when the strap is fitted with a butterfly clasp.
