Junghans Form Mega Watch

The Junghans Form Mega Watch is “a watch for every occasion and every time”. Combining modern design in a classic watch form, expect timepieces that are sober, refined and unadorned. The FORM MEGA uses a radio-controlled movement to create a watch that is accurate – even to the half second. Even when no longer in reception range, the FORM MEGA remains entirely reliable in quartz mode. When journeying to far off cities around the world, the respective time can either be set with the crown or via the Junghans MEGA app.

Design in depth

Although at first glance the FORM line appears reserved, it is the little details that count. Firstly, this FORM model has a crisp, white concave dial with interesting square embossed minute markers. The layout of the dial has been carefully considered with the legible printed hour indexes designed for accuracy and ease of use. Secondly, a date indicator is a useful function and is framed by a subtle shaping of the dial surrounding it. Finally, coordinating with the black printing on the dial, the black leather strap is deliberately plain with no stitching.

A side view of the watch reveals that it is ergonomic in design. The case is a convex shape which underscores its flat appearance and enhances comfort for the wearer.
