Marathon 41mm Anthracite Diver’s GSAR Bracelet Watch

The Marathon 41mm Anthracite GSAR Diver’s Watch meets ISO 6425 standards. Designed for Search and Rescue (SAR) divers, it’s issued to the United States Marine Corps. Able to withstand extreme conditions, it’s also known as the Government Search and Rescue (GSAR). First introduced in the early 1990s, Marathon SAR watches are still in active use today.

The Marathon 41mm Diver’s GSAR Watch has many oustanding features. Firstly, an easy to grip bezel allows for manipulation with gloved hands. Secondly, self contained Tritium gas tubes ensure constant visibility in low light situations. A gas tube on each hour marker and hands and MaraGlo for the 12 hour bezel marker. These self illuminating gas tubes contain an isotope of hydrogen. Consequently, they don’t require an external light source to create a glow. This means their brightness remains constant without dulling down (unlike luminescent coatings).

Additionally, the Marathon 41mm Diver’s GSAR is water resistant to 30 bar – 300 metres (1000 feet). Built from 316L black ion-plated stainless steel, its 41mm case is durable and rugged. Also, a scratch resistant, sapphire crystal ensures the dial is always legible. Moreover, a Swiss made automatic movement guarantees you a reliable and accurate timekeeping experience.
