This Michel Herbelin Newport Mother of Pearl Dial Watch is a founder member of Michel Herbelin’s flagship Newport collection. Inspired by the design of the original Newport model from 1988, the look is bold with nautical aesthetics. Also, the vibrant combination of blue and white mother of pearl make this a real stand out piece.
Nautical styling
Firstly, the case is in polished stainless steel. The bezel has NEWPORT engraved at the bottom to distinguish this as the brand’s flagship collection. Secondly, the white mother of pearl dial has elegant blue printed roman numerals with a railroad style minute track. The white hands are luminescent for improved visibility. Furthermore, the blue leather strap is padded for extra comfort with white contrast double stitching. Finally, the embossed ship’s wheel motif on the crown are caseback are symbolic of the nautical heritage of this watch.

Arrived sooner than expected which was great but would have appreciated an email that it had been shipped. RM just sent an em that a “parcel” was being delivered but could not tell us from whom. Scam packages requiring duties and other charges are a current problem in our rural area.
