For the original and iconic Swiss Railways design, choose the Mondaine 40mm Classic Pure Watch. Developed in 1944 by the Swiss Federal Railways (the SBB) for their station clocks, it was first launched as a wristwatch by Mondaine in 1986. The design has truly stood the test of time and has remained unchanged ever since. The look is minimalist with clear Bauhaus influence. Functionality and legibility the hallmarks of this timepiece collection.
Characterised by it’s brushed 40mm steel case, the Mondaine Classic Pure Watch has a timeless look and feel. The iconic dial is clear and legible at all times thanks to the bold hour markers and minute track. For a really minimal look, the dial is without a printed logo for maximum clarity.
The strap is deliberately pared back in plain black vegan grape leather. The red lining is a hidden design feature which complements the sweeping red second hand and red Mondaine monogram set into the crown.
Mondaine has a long watch-making tradition and their watches are synonymous with Swiss quality. Manufactured at their factory in Solothurn, all watches are water resistant up to 3 bars (30m) and for complete peace of mind, come with a 2 year warranty.

It took several weeks but arrived in the end
