Developed in 1944 by the Swiss Federal Railways (the SBB) for their station clocks, it was first launched as a wristwatch by Mondaine in 1986. The design has truly stood the test of time and has remained unchanged ever since. The look is minimalist with clear Bauhaus influence. Characterised by it’s brushed 30mm steel case this Mondaine Classic Pure 30mm Watch has a timeless look and feel. Also, the iconic dial is clear and legible at all times thanks to the bold hour markers and minute track. For a really minimal look, the dial has no printed logo for maximum clarity.

The strap is deliberately pared back in plain black leather. The red lining is a hidden design feature which complements the sweeping red second hand and red Mondaine monogram set into the crown.
