The Mondaine Petite Cushion 31mm on a red strap takes its inspiration from a vintage case design.
Developed in 1944 by the Swiss Federal Railways (the SBB) for their station clocks, the iconic dial design was first launched as a wristwatch by Mondaine in 1986. The design has truly stood the test of time and has remained unchanged ever since. The look is minimalist with clear Bauhaus influence. Functionality and legibility are the hallmarks of this timepiece collection.
Cushion Shaped Case, Dial
Crafted for a smaller wrist, the 31mm Mondaine Petite Cushion Watch sits comfortably and elegantly on the wrist. The polished stainless steel case has rounded corners for an elegant look. Also, it has a perfectly integrated double-domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, which is extremely strong and scratch resistant. Additionally, the iconic dial is clear and legible at all times thanks to the bold hour markers and minute track. Also, the watch features the famous sweeping red second hand.
Vegan Grape Leather Strap
The red strap of the Mondaine Petite Cushion 31mm Watch is made from sustainable vegan grape leather which is a by-product of the winemaking industry. Also, the quick-change system allows you to quickly and easily change the 16mm strap for an alternative strap with no need for tools.
