Our NATO Black and Grey Striped Watch Strap offers comfort, practicality and pared-back style. This particular grey and black striped version is in the style of the iconic strap worn by James Bond. Firstly, it was seen in Thunderball in 1965, fitted to Sean Connery’s Rolex. Subsequently, in the 2015 film Spectre, Daniel Craig sported a similar strap on his Omega.
Hugely popular in recent years, the NATO strap threads underneath the watch case. An additional flap also goes underneath the case and passes through a buckle. This ensures the security of the watch in case one of the spring bars should fail. The NATO strap followed on from the Zulu which was originally developed during WWII for pilots and the military. This style of strap could be fitted to a watch case with solid lugs therefore making the watch more durable.
Available in 3 popular sizes from 18mm to 22mm, our NATO strap is made from durable nylon. The oval buckle and keepers are in matt stainless steel.
Furthermore, the NATO Strap is also available in a wide range of colours including Blue, Grey, Red and Orange as well as in other striped versions. Finally, we also offer a leather NATO in Black or Brown.
