The Oris Aquis Date with Aegean Blue Dial is one of a trio of 36.5mm watches with high contrast Mother of Pearl dials. The dials shimmer playfully in the light like the surface of water at sunset, adding an elegant, sophisticated hue to the Aquis’s high performance profile.

Case, Dial

Firstly, the stainless steel case is 36.5mm in diameter which makes it suitable both as a women’s and small men’s watch. As with all Aquis models, the watch has a uni-directional bezel with top ring in relief for measuring elapsed time. Secondly, the elegant dial is in Aegean Blue Mother of Pearl with bold, white hour markers. Along with the hands, these are coated in superluminova for legibility in poor light. Additionally, a white minute track ensures the dial is easy to read. Finally, a domed anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects the dial.

Movement, Water Resistance, Caseback, Strap

A precision Oris 733 automatic movement with the brand’s famous red oscillating rotor  is responsible for the hours, minutes, seconds and date complications. Also it has a 38 hour power reserve. Furthermore, water resistant to 30 bars (300m), the Aquis has an easy grip, protected screw-down crown. Similarly, the caseback also screws-in and features a see-through caseback. Moreover, the solid stainless steel bracelet has a secure folding clasp with extension for comfort when diving. Lastly, the Oris Aquis Date with Aegean Blue Dial features a date indicator at 6 o’clock.
