With the Oris Aquis Date Upcycle 36.5mm Watch, Oris continue their efforts for ocean conservation. The recycled PET plastic dial uses a process that produces a completely random, colourful and beautiful pattern. Consequently, no two dials of the Aquis Upcycle Watch will be the same, making each piece completely bespoke to its wearer.

Case, Dial

Firstly, the stainless steel case of the Oris Aquis Upcycle is 36.5mm in diameter (view 41.5mm version here) with a uni-directional bezel. A grey ceramic bezel insert has a white minute scale for measuring elapsed time. Secondly, the eye-catching dial has bold, white hour markers. Along with the hands, these are coated in superluminova for legibility in poor light. Additionally, a white minute track ensures the dial is easy to read. Finally, a domed anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects the dial.

Movement, Water Resistance, Caseback, Bracelet

A precision Oris 733 automatic movement with the brand’s famous red oscillating rotor  is responsible for the hours, minutes, seconds and date complications. Also it has a 38 hour power reserve. Water resistant to 30 bars (300m), the Aquis has an easy grip, protected screw-down crown. Similarly, the see-through caseback also screws-in. Moreover, the stainless steel bracelet has a secure folding clasp with extension to make it more comfortable when diving.

Lastly, the Oris Aquis Date Upcycle 36.5mm is delivered in a special presentation box made from sustainable and recycled paper as a final statement of the brand’s sustainable mission for luxury watchmaking.
