Oris Aquis Hammerhead Limited Edition

The Oris Aquis Hammerhead Limited Edition is on a mission to save the sharks. Created in conjunction with the non-profit Pelagios Kakunjá, it supports a pioneering shark conservation project. Limited to 2,000 pieces, this is a high functioning dive watch that doesn’t compromise on style.

Case, Dial

Firstly, the imposing stainless steel case is 45.50mm in diameter with brushed sides and a bezel with a black ceramic insert. Uni-directional, it has a white minute scale for measuring elapsed time. Secondly, the dial is grey in a subtle sunray finish with bold, applied hour markers. Along with the hands, these are coated in white superluminova for legibility in poor light. Additionally, a white minute track ensures the dial is easy to read. Furthermore, blue detailing on the dial and centre seconds hand provides a colourful contrast to the grey dial. Moreover, an enlarged day/date indicator at 3 o’clock is a useful feature. Finally, a domed anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects the dial.

Movement, Water Resistance, Caseback, Bracelet

Equipped with a precision Oris 752 automatic movement, the watch has a 38 hour power reserve. Water resistant to 50 bars (500m), the Aquis has an easy grip screw-down crown. Similarly, the caseback also screws-in and has special engravings of the Hammerhead Shark along with the unique serial number of the watch. Finally, the solid stainless steel bracelet is in a polished and brushed finish. A secure folding clasp with extension makes it comfortable for use when diving.
