Oris Aquis New York Harbor Limited Edition

With the Oris Aquis New York Harbor Limited Edition, Oris backs Billion Oyster Project. This pioneering non-profit works to restore New York Harbor’s once lost oyster population. The project’s vision is ambitious: to restore one billion oysters to the city’s iconic waterways by the year 2035. To support the project’s work, the New York Harbor Limited Edition is a 2,000-piece edition based on the high-performance Aquis diver’s watch. Its signature feature is its green mother of-pearl dial, inspired by the colour of the famous harbor’s water, and by oyster shell.

Case, Dial

Firstly, the stainless steel case is 41.5mm in diameter with a uni-directional bezel for measuring elapsed time. Secondly, the eye-catching dial is in green Mother of Pearl with bold, white hour markers. Along with the hands, these are coated in superluminova for legibility in poor light. Additionally, a white minute track ensures the dial is easy to read. Finally, a domed anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects the dial.

Movement, Water Resistance, Caseback, Strap

A precision Oris 733 automatic movement with the brand’s famous red oscillating rotor  is responsible for the hours, minutes, seconds and date complications. Also it has a 38 hour power reserve. Furthermore, water resistant to 30 bars (300m), the Aquis has an easy grip, protected screw-down crown. Similarly, the caseback also screws-in and features special engravings of oysters. Moreover, the green rubber strap has a secure folding clasp.

Lastly, the Oris Aquis New York Harbor Limited Edition is delivered in a special presentation box with an additional bracelet and tool to enable easy strap changes.
