Oris Artelier Pointer Day Date Watch

The Oris Artelier Pointer Day Date Watch is one of Oris’s signature designs. The pointer function was first introduced into an Oris watch in 1938 and here indicates the day of the week. It sits in the elegant Artelier case, a versatile, timeless design with a streamlined, stylish silhouette.

Case, Dial, Date, Crystal

Firstly, the stainless steel case is elegantly contoured and 40mm in diameter. Secondly, the dial is in an elegant grey guilloché finish with fine, applied hour markers. Furthermore, it has fine stainless steel hands which are coated in superluminova for legibility in poor light. Additionally, the day pointer hand has a red tip for easy visibility. Also, a date window positioned at 3 o’clock is a useful feature. Finally, the sapphire crystal is domed on both sides for a clear view of the pattern on the dial. An anti-reflective coating on the inside reduces glare.

Movement, Water Resistance, Caseback, Strap

Equipped with a precision Oris 755 automatic movement, the watch has a 38 hour power reserve. In addition it is water resistant to 5 bars (50m) and has an easy grip stainless steel crown. Moreover, the see-through mineral caseback screws-in and allows a fantastic view of the movement in action. Finally, a stainless steel bracelet adds the finishing touch and secures to the wrist with a butterfly clasp.
