Oris Artix GT Chronograph

The Oris Artix GT Chronograph is a steel sports watch loaded with innovation. Building on Oris’ Motor Sports heritage, the Artix GT Chronograph combines timeless contemporary design with sporty elegance.

Case, Dial, Date, Crystal

Firstly, the stainless steel case is 44mm in diameter with a black bi-rotating bezel. This benefits from the Oris-developed rubber ‘good grip’ outer edge for taking quick, accurate readings. Secondly, the dial is also black with applied hour indexes. Along with the hour and minute hands, these are coated in superluminova for legibility in poor light. Additionally, a white minute track ensures the dial is easy to read. Furthermore, red detailing on the dial, centre seconds hand and chronograph dials provides a vibrant pop of colour. Additionally, the the date is displayed at 6 o’clock. Finally, the sapphire crystal is domed on both sides. An anti-reflective coating on the inside reduces glare for better legibility in the cockpit.

Movement, Water Resistance, Crown, Caseback, Strap

Equipped with a precision Oris 774 automatic chronograph movement, the watch has a 48 hour power reserve. In addition it is water resistant to 10 bars (100m) and has a large easy grip screw-down crown. Similarly, the see-through caseback also screws-in and allows a fantastic view of the movement in action. Finally, the black rubber strap is perforated to increase air flow and a secure folding clasp secures it to the wrist.
