Oris Divers Sixty-Five Bronze 40mm Watch

The Oris Divers Sixty-Five Bronze Watch is a revival of an iconic diver’s watch that first appeared in the Oris collection 50 years ago. The new Divers Sixty-Five shares the retro looks of the 1960’s original. However, it utilises 21st century materials and watchmaking techniques.

Case, Blue Dial, Date, Crystal

Firstly, the bronze case is a functional 40mm in diameter with a bronze bezel. Uni-directional, it has a minute scale for measuring elapsed time. Secondly, the graded dial is brown with bold, gold tone hour markers (view blue dial version here). Along with the hands, these are coated in superluminova for legibility in poor light. Additionally, a gold minute track ensures the dial is easy to read. Furthermore, a date indicator at 6 o’clock is a useful feature. Finally, the domed sapphire crystal is inspired by the original watch. An anti-reflective coating on the inside reduces glare for better legibility under water.

Movement, Water Resistance, Special Caseback, Bracelet

Equipped with a precision Oris 733 automatic movement with iconic red rotor, the Oris Divers Sixty-Five Bronze Watch has a 38 hour power reserve. In addition it is water resistant to 10 bars (100m) and has an easy grip screw-down crown. Similarly, the caseback also screws-in and has special engraved detailing. Finally, the two tone bronze bracelet has a secure folding clasp.
