Oris ProPilot X Calibre 400 Grey Dial Watch

The Oris ProPilot X Calibre 400 Grey Dial Watch is one of the brand’s new generation of high-performance automatics. Conceived entirely in-house by the brand’s skilled engineers, Calibre 400 Series movements feature elevated levels of anti-magnetism and a five-day power reserve. Also, a 10-year warranty. Oris call this The New Standard.

Case, Dial, Date, Crystal

Firstly, the titanium case is a functional 39mm in diameter and has a signature turbine bezel. This suggests fast motion which is apt for this cutting-edge pilot watch. Secondly, the dial is in a smokey grey tone (Blue and Salmon dial versions also available). Also, it has functional, black hour markers. Along with the hands, these are coated in superluminova for legibility in poor light. Additionally, a traditional minute track ensures the dial is easy to read. Finally, the sapphire crystal is domed on both sides. An anti-reflective coating on the inside reduces glare for better legibility in the cockpit.

Movement, Water Resistance, Caseback, Bracelet

Equipped with a precision Oris 400 automatic movement, the ProPilot X has an incredible 120 hour power reserve. Additionally it’s water resistant to 10 bars (100m) and has a large easy grip screw-down crown. This is oversized to allow for use when wearing gloves. Similarly, the see-through caseback also screws-in and allows a fantastic view of the movement in action. Finally, the multi-piece titanium bracelet is comfortable to wear and so light, you’ll hardly know you’re wearing it. A folding clasp with Oris’ patented lift mechanism, ensures security.
