‘Shiro-iro’ Warm White Dial, Case & Bracelet

Firstly, the dial of the Seiko Presage Open Heart is in an warm white shade known as ‘Shiro-iro’ (view black dial version here). The dial takes inspiration from the delicate texture of Japanese silk, a precious material in Japan’s history. Its texture, reminiscent of silk’s fine weave, creates visual depth. Secondly, the recessed ‘open-heart’ feature at 9 o’clock, shows the inner beauty of the movement within which powers the watch. Also, it features a recessed 24-hour subdial at 6 o’clock.

Protected by a dual-curved sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating, the curved dial features elegant curved hands and indices that capture and reflect light. This adds a vintage appeal.
