This handsome Seiko Presage Craftsmanship Series ‘Natural Green’ Dial Watch is a truly unique timepiece. Skilled artisans painstakingly apply layer upon layer of natural Urushi lacquer, sourced from the sap of the Japanese lacquer tree, by hand. Also, they hand-polish the lacquer multiple times to achieve the deep, silky colour. Consequently, each finished dial is a work of art.
Automatic Calibre
Inside this exceptional timepiece, you’ll find Seiko’s latest in-house automatic movement, the 6R55 calibre. This marvel can store power for an impressive 72 hours, allowing you to take it off on a Friday evening and put it back on Monday morning without needing to reset the time. Notably, this marks the first appearance of this three-day movement in the Presage Craftsmanship Series. Additionally, you have the option to manually wind the watch.
Case, Green Urishi Laquered Dial
The Seiko Presage ‘Natural Green’ Watch boasts a 40.2mm circular case with a fresh and modern design. Its refined angles and impeccable proportions beautifully complement the green Urushi lacquer dial (view white dial version here). The dial colour is inspired by the mossy gardens of the Hokuriku region of Japan. The gold-colored second hand represents sunlight piercing through the trees, creating a scene of dramatic natural beauty.
Moreover, the timepiece features a dual-curved sapphire crystal. This not only adds to its visual appeal but also gives it a slimmer appearance when worn on your wrist. A beautifully soft, brown leather strap complements the green dial and a three-fold clasp secures it to the wrist.
