This handsome Seiko Presage Urushi GMT is from the Craftsmanship Series. With its deep black lacquered dial and convenient GMT function, it’s a unique timepiece. Skilled artisans painstakingly apply layer upon layer of natural Urushi lacquer to create the dial, sourced from the sap of the Japanese lacquer tree, by hand. Also, they hand-polish the lacquer multiple times to achieve the deep, silky colour. Consequently, each finished dial is a work of art and no two are exactly the same.

Automatic GMT Calibre

Inside this exceptional timepiece, you’ll find Seiko’s latest in-house automatic movement, the 6R54 calibre. Not only does it allow the tracking of two timezones simultaneously, this marvel can store power for an impressive 72 hours. This allows you to take it off on a Friday evening and put it back on Monday morning without needing to reset the time.  Additionally, you have the option to manually wind the watch.

Case, Urishi Laquered Dial

The Seiko Presage Urushi GMT Watch boasts a 40.2mm circular case with a fresh and modern design. Its refined angles and impeccable proportions beautifully complement the deep black Urushi lacquer dial (view non-GMT version here).

Moreover, the timepiece features a dual-curved sapphire crystal. This not only adds to its visual appeal but also gives it a slimmer appearance when worn on your wrist. A soft brown calf leather strap secures the watch to the wrist with a three-fold clasp.
